“Those who approach the Sacrament of Penance obtain pardon from God’s mercy for the offence committed against him, and are, at the same time, reconciled with the Church which they have wounded by their sins and which by charity, by example, and by prayer labours for their conversion.”(Catechism of the Catholic Church n. 1422)

The Sacrament of Reconciliation at St Patrick’s Cathedral is in English and is available on weekdays from Tuesday - Friday from 12pm prior to the 1.00pm daily Mass. On weekends Reconciliation is available on Saturday at 8.30am and 5:30pm or by appointment.

At St John the Evangelist East Melbourne Reconciliation is available by request or before and after 9.30am Saturday morning Mass in both English and Vietnamese.
